Cover of Report

Dear Friends and Partners, I am pleased to present the Project Report_Climate change workshop for young people_GERAS Cameroon of the “Climate Change Workshop for Young People” whose pilot phase took place from April to October 2015 in Kumba, South West Region of Cameroon, Africa.
GERAS Cameroon within its three years of legal existence has demonstrated its potentials to positively influence geo-education in Cameroon from the Primary level (climate change and practical environmental education), to Secondary level (Earth Science Week for geology students), to Higher education (Promotion of Geoethics). This is a practical model to introduce and provide quality and relevant education in Cameroon. A laudable initiative that is open to partnership and funding opportunities to scale up and provide more opportunities for Cameroonian graduates who have the knowledge but find it difficult to gain the necessary skills needed in the very competitive job market.
GERAS Cameroon’s work cuts across seven out of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 13 and 17.
Have a great time while reviewing this project report. We hope to improve on its quality with respect to time and resources.
Cheers!!!!!!
